Mila now available

Today, 9to5 Seating announced the all-new Mila, an intelligent seating solution for conference, executive and task seating.

Mila makes ergonomic adjustment easy, with a simple mechanism that automatically adapts to each user’s weight, and fingertip levers that adjust height and back tilt.  The elegant contoured aluminum frame encircles the seat and back and hides the control.  The arms are finished with urethane pads that are soft to the touch.

“Mila is truly a feat of design, engineering, and craftsmanship.  It’s sculpture in motion – eye-catching from every angle,” said Dara Mir, President of 9to5 Seating.  “With its simple, intuitive adjustments and superior comfort, it’s a chair for everyone.”

New plastic colors for Kelley, Shuttle and Bella

9to5 Seating launches twelve new plastic colors to popular multi-purpose series Kelley and Shuttle. Last year, 9to5 Seating launched twelve new plastic colors to the Bella series.

Twelve new plastic colors include: Federal Blue, Crimson Red, Tangerine Orange, Lemon Yellow, Apple Green, Lagoon Blue, Azure Blue, Latte, Cloud Gray, Dove Gray, Black Swan and White Whisper.

The expansion of twelve new plastic colors to the Kelley and Shuttle enhances the 9to5 Seating multi-purpose chair options, which include stacking, nesting, task and task stool models.

“We are always working on product enhancements that will provide more options to our customers. Expanding the new plastic colors to popular series, like Kelley and Shuttle, was just a natural progression,” said Dara Mir, President of 9to5 Seating.

The new plastic colors for Kelley, Shuttle and Bella chairs are now orderable through the 9to5 Seating contract dealer network.

New Vivid Fabric & M4 Mesh Launch

   

We are proud to introduce the new Vivid fabric and M4 mesh collections. The bold new colors provide more upholstery customization options for customers. You may have seen the new Vivid and M4 mesh in our showroom during NeoCon 2018.

The Vivid fabric card includes ten new colors including Crimson, Tangerine, Lemon, Apple, Aqua, Electric Blue, Cloud, Latte, Dove and Onyx. The 100% polyester, Grade A fabrics will be included in the 9to5 Seating ExpressShip fabric program. The ExpressShip program offers expedited delivery on our seating products. The ExpressShip program also includes the 9to5 Seating Signature and Momentum Swift fabric programs. Vivid fabric is available on all 9to5 Seating options.

The M4 mesh card includes ten corresponding colors including Crimson M46, Tangerine M44, Lemon M42, Apple M43, Aqua M45, Electric Blue M47, Cloud M41, Latte M40, Dove M49 and Onyx M48. The M4 mesh card is bleach cleanable and also included in the 9to5 Seating ExpressShip fabric program. M4 mesh is now available on the following series: Aria, Luna, Shuttle and Vault.

Mila Receives Product Innovations Merit Award

 

9to5 Seating is proud to announce that the Mila conference and executive chair has received a Product Innovations award from BUILDINGS Media. The product is a member of an elite group of products that will be showcased in the August 2018 issue of BUILDINGS.

The BUILDINGS editorial staff evaluated submissions in terms of their innovation and contribution to productive workplaces. The staff then evaluated finalists in person at the NeoCon 2018 show in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. Mila received the Merit award in the Seating category.

“We’re very proud to announce the Merit award for Mila. Bella – 12 New Plastic Colors

9to5 Seating launches twelve new plastic colors to one of their most popular seating series – Bella.

Twelve new colors include: Federal Blue, Crimson Red, Tangerine Orange, Lemon Yellow, Apple Green, Lagoon Blue, Azure Blue, Latte, Cloud Gray, Dove Gray, Black Swan and White Whisper.

The introduction of twelve new plastic colors enhances the Bella series, a multi-purpose chair that includes stacking, nesting, task and task stool models.

“Our Bella series is one of our most popular chair series, and to expand on its popularity with the introduction of twelve new plastic colors will be an exciting enhancement that we feel our customers will really respond to,” said Dara Mir, President of 9to5 Seating.

Lilly, Luna and Neo Launches

We are excited to announce the launch of three new chair series to add to our task and lounge collections: Luna, Neo and Lilly.

The Luna and Neo are two additions to the task/work seating category, focusing on function, ergonomics and long-lasting comfort. The Lilly is the second lounge seating collection being introduced by 9to5 Seating. The Lilly focuses on classic sophisticated design and comfort for collaborative and public spaces.

“We listened to our customers and the marketplace and decided to expand our task and lounge collections. 2018 Price List Now Available

The 9to5 Seating Price List is now available online at 9to5Seating.com\downloads.

Effective January 1, 2018, there will be a price increase for various chair series. The increase is an average of 1%. A price increase is necessary due to higher global cost of raw materials and components. The price increase will not affect all of 9to5 Seating chair series. The following chair series will not increase: Brio, Cosmo, Logic, Shuttle, Strata, Theory, @NCE, Acclaim, Core, Diddy, Sophie and Zoom.

Orders using the 2017 pricing will be accepted through December 31, 2017. Registration for old price protection will be accepted through December 31, 2017 for orders that can be shipped no later than March 31, 2108.

The new Price Book also includes the launch of five new products for 2018: Lilly lounge seating, Luna task seating, Neo task seating, Mimi guest & stacking and Sol executive seating. These five new introductions expand upon 9to5 Seating’s dedication to making workplaces more comfortable, one chair at a time.
