2019 NeoCon Recap

What a show! NeoCon 2019 was a record breaking year for 9to5 Seating. We want to thank everyone who visited the showroom and celebrated our 15 year anniversary with us during our Sips + Seating party. We, also, want to thank our staff for all their hard work that made NeoCon possible.

This year’s NeoCon is extra special for 9to5 Seating. This year, we are celebrating our 15th anniversary. This fifteen year mark encourages us to reflect on how far we have come, and how we will continue to grow into the future. We have reflected on our products, our customers, our staff, our production process, every aspect of our company from top down, and we make strides to improve every day.

At this year’s NeoCon, we are excited to reveal new high design products, like the Omnia. Omnia’s lightweight and unique one-piece mesh back and seat frame is sure to inspire.  Its integrated mechanism is something you’ll have to come and see! We will, also, be launching our new Breeze fabric program with over 80 new colorways. Come see us on the 10th floor, Ste. #109.

Also, we will be celebrating our 15th anniversary at our Sips+Seating party on Monday, June 10, 2019, 3-6 p.m. We hope you’ll join us at Ste. #109 on the 10th floor, for some drinks, food and an exclusive gift. This is open to the public and all are welcome!

2019 Chair Giveaway Contest

We’re excited to bring back our chair giveaway photo contest! Enter the #HowI9to5 chair giveaway contest. Every week, leading up to NeoCon, we will be giving one lucky winner a chance to win a 9to5 Seating chair of their choice. Enter starting Monday, May 20, 2019, through Friday, June 7, 2019. See below to learn how to enter.

 HOW TO ENTER

Step 1: Take a selfie of you in a 9to5 Seating chair, or a regular photo of a 9to5 Seating chair.

* Tip: Not sure who makes your chair? Take a look under your seat. 😉

Step 2: Post your selfie on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Mention the name of the chair (if you can) and tag #HowI9to5 #9to5seating. Make sure that your profile is public, so that we can find your post.

Step 3: One winner will be chosen every week leading up to NeoCon. Winners will be announced on 9to5 Seating’s social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram). Announcements will be posted the following Mondays: 5/27/19, 6/3/19 and 6/10/19.

Winners will also be sent a DM via social media. Winner must reply to the DM or to the email address provided in the DM. Instructions for prize fulfillment will be provided by email. Winner can choose one Lilly, Luna, Neo or Mimi and a fabric with Grade D or lower.

NeoCon 2018 Wrap Up

What a thrilling NeoCon! Witnessing the 50th year of NeoCon was exciting and fruitful for 9to5 Seating. We featured new products, extensions to our very popular Lilly series, new Vivid fabric card, new M4 mesh card and twelve new plastic colors. We also hosted our first Sips + Seating party on Monday, June 11, with food, drinks and special gift. We, also, gave away  custom chairs to twelve lucky winners for our NeoCon Selfie Giveaway Contest! On top of all that, our new Mila chair (available end of this year), was a finalist for the BUILDINGS Media Product Innovations 2018 Award. What a whirlwind!

What’s New at NeoCon 2017

We had a great NeoCon and want to thank our staff and everyone who visited the showroom. NeoCon requires a lot of planning and work but our dedicated team helped bring it all together.

This year, we launched our “The Secret is Out” campaign and from the traffic in the showroom, we can tell the message was well received. We wanted showroom visitors to learn more about what makes up our secret: our unique story, our reshoring effort, the vertical integration of our manufacturing process, forward thinking in terms of design and operations, and, of course, our people.

From our showroom update, display of new 2018 products and updated 2017 products, brand video playing on the showroom monitors, launch of our brand new website and Chair Designer 2.0 the unique story and positioning of 9to5 Seating was definitely loud and clear!

9TO5 SEATING CONTINUES TO LOOK TOWARDS CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS FOR NEOCON INSPIRATION

 

9to5 Seating, a leading office seating manufacturer, is emphasizing ways in which it can help customers plan for the future at NeoCon 2017. Informed by customer demand, 9to5 Seating is launching new products and a brand new website and Chair Designer.

“We are excited to reveal all the new things happening with 9to5 Seating at this year at NeoCon,: said Dara Mir, President of 9to5 Seating. This year, we’re focusing on our high design products, such as our Sol, Luna, Acclaim, Core, Diddy and Zoom series. We’re also highlighting our Sophie lounge series.”

While Sol, Luna, Acclaim, Core, Diddy and Zoom are the showcased items, 9to5 Seating will reveal five brand new chair series that will launch in 2018. You can visit the showroom to see the new mod-style lounge chair, two ergonomic task chairs, a new conference chair, as well as a new product category 9to5 Seating will be entering: a K-12 chair.

In addition to showcasing the high design products, 9to5 Seating will be launching a brand new website with newly designed Chair Designer in time for NeoCon. Both the website and Chair Designer allow for easier usability, flexibility and the ability to spec projects and track orders.

“The new website and Chair Designer are more aligned with the direction we’re going- more design focused and always centered around the customer experience,” said Mir. “We think everyone is going to be impressed with the new website and our Chair Designer with all its features, configuration options and graded upholstery choices.
